Mike Wronski and Aaron Bawcom of Reflex Systems joined us to tackle the issues of:
- Review of security lockdown standards/benchmarks and tools
- Virtualization Security in shared and dedicated hosting environments
- Top 3 security issues
This was an open discussion on the questions presented at the beginning of this podcast series that we have not tackled yet.
We discussed the current batch of security standards and decided something was better than nothing, but there is more than a standard involved.
We discussed how virtualization security works within shared and dedicated hosting environments.... Security is your concern. Get some audit control from the hosting facility.
And the top 3 issues.... Network security was the top issue. But there is a need to understand WHAT you are securing as well.
Listen for more of the discussion!
